Amazon Web Services to Support 24-Hour, IoT-Themed Hackathon

Mendix also announced that AWS joins KPN in sponsoring the Mendix World 2016 Hackathon, which is challenging small teams to build working Smart Apps in just 24 hours. To facilitate rapid connectivity and deployment, Mendix developers will have access to the KPN LoRa Network, a long-range network for connecting low-energy, low-data devices, plus one-click deployment on AWS. There will be several IoT use cases to choose from, including an event app that leverages sensor data collected at Mendix World.
