What’s included in the Mendix Free edition?
The Mendix Free edition includes everything you need to design, build, and deploy demos, prototypes, or small applications. It includes a deployment environment for each application with unlimited users.

What are the limitations of the Free package?
Our free offering comes with limited functionality. You can plan, build, test, and deploy your application. However, it will only run for a couple of hours before shutting down, cannot be scaled and has limited operational information available. To remove the limitation, you must upgrade to a paid plan.

How long can I stay on the Free edition?
You can use the free version for free, forever. You can learn how to use Mendix at your own pace, evaluate our platform, and have a hands-on experience with planning, developing, testing, deploying, and managing your application. You can decide when to switch to Basic, Standard, or Premium.
