As SVP of Strategy, Gordon Van Huizen and his team play a fundamental role in helping Mendix understand and shape how technology and product advancements can benefit customers and users. Van Huizen identifies and explores strategies for emergent technology advancements, and works to incubate product innovations within Mendix, all with a focus on how these technologies can impact and bring value to customers.

Looking ahead, Van Huizen is focused on the convergence of data and AI, analyzing its potential to fundamentally change the nature of software, the way it’s built, and — ultimately — how it will be perceived and leveraged by people.
