Mendix Cloud Dedicated
What is Mendix Cloud Dedicated?
With Mendix Cloud Dedicated, Mendix provides the same integrated, secure, scalable, cost-effective, and high-available infrastructure as Mendix Cloud, with one added trait: Mendix Cloud Dedicated clusters are single-tenant.
They only host applications of a single customer. This is different from the public Mendix Cloud, which is multi-tenant: applications from multiple customers are running on the same infrastructure. As all applications are isolated from each other, in the public Mendix Cloud as well as in Mendix Cloud Dedicated, both deployment options provide the same level of security. For customers who are looking for a managed deployment platform that is single-tenant, Mendix Cloud Dedicated is the perfect solution.
Mendix Cloud Dedicated is optimized to run Mendix applications. It comes standard with deep insights, alerting, high availability, and backup and log management, all of which are self-service available. For more information, see Mendix Cloud Dedicated Features.

On-premises connectivity
Mendix Cloud Dedicated offers a single-tenant platform that runs the applications of a single customer. This makes it possible to set up on-premises connectivity from a Cloud Dedicated region to infrastructure owned by that customer.
Connecting a Mendix Cloud Dedicated region to infrastructure owned by the customer is done through Transit Gateway peering. A Transit Gateway in the AWS account running the Mendix Cloud Dedicated region is connected to a Transit Gateway in an AWS account owned by the customer.
From there, you can create any connection to any on-premises network you need. This Transit Gateway peering provides a manageable, scalable solution that offers maximum flexibility to our customers. Connections can be added, changed, or deleted by the customer without requiring any intervention from Mendix.
Default custom domain
You can configure a custom domain for applications deployed to the Mendix Cloud. The same feature is available for Mendix Cloud Dedicated.
Mendix can also configure a default custom domain for applications deployed to Mendix Cloud Dedicated. With that, all applications deployed to your Mendix Cloud Dedicated will get a URL in the requested domain automatically.
