Press Release

Mendix partners with Menditect to bring automated testing throughout the SDLC

Mendix Press Release

Mendix announced a reseller agreement with Menditect, the developers of Menditect Test Automation (MTA). MTA helps organizations identify bugs earlier in development, leading to reduced costs, faster time to market, and increased app quality during the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Key features

Automated regression testing is one of the key elements to guarantee application quality during the SDLC.

Automated testing ensures that users can test and verify applications are still working correctly without extensive, labor-intensive, manual testing. Manual tests aren’t scalable for mission-critical apps and larger Mendix app landscapes. Automated testing provides a quick feedback loop while lowering the cost of ownership. Automated testing also speeds up development because it helps find bugs earlier.

  • Maintain fast time-to-market: Tests can be executed early and often, increasing the speed of finding and fixing bugs before they become showstoppers.
  • Reduce development costs: Manual tests are expensive. As applications grow in complexity, so does the effort and expense of testing. MTA mitigates those risks.
  • Ensure app quality and compliance: If testing is part of your compliance process, MTA helps ensure development meets standards. Check, guarantee, and report that your app does what it needs to with each release.
  • Simplify maintenance: Quick validation enables developers to spend less time on maintenance and more time on innovation.

Automation, quality, speed

MTA provides a unified, easy-to-use, no-code test automation suite. Through a Mendix Studio Pro plugin, MTA fully integrates into the Mendix platform and IDE, offering developers and testers a unified experience. MTA can run standalone or integrated into an enterprise landscape, integrated with requirement management tools like Jira and Mendix Epics, test management tools, and CI/CD tools using public MTA APIs. With MTA, developers can test earlier and create better apps cheaper and faster.
